In The Dropout Episode 5, Ian faced an impossible situation when he became caught between Richard and Elizabeth in the midst of Elizabeth’s lawsuit. Seeing no way out, he tragically committed suicide. Elizabeth and Sunny schemed to steal technology from another company so they could give Walgreens a functioning device for their wellness centres.
