Other highlights include Flee, the award-winning animated documentary that explores the refugee experience, and Under The Banner of Heaven, an Andrew Garfield-starring crime series that is based on a compelling true story. Check out our other highlights below and keep scrolling for a list of the other titles coming to Disney+ this July. Please note: This list is complete at the time of writing but it may be subject to change if the folks at Disney+ decide to amend their schedule.

The Princess (2022)
Joey King stars as the princess of the title, a strong-willed young woman who is locked up in a tower by her father after she refuses to marry a sociopathic prince. She doesn’t need a knight in shining armour to come to her rescue as this princess is not the damsel in distress that you’re probably expecting. She is more than able to handle herself, which is a good thing, as she is soon called upon to protect her family and her home.

America the Beautiful
Created by the award-winning producers of Planet Earth and Frozen Planet, this offers a jaw-dropping exploration of the wildlife and landscapes of North America. Michael B. Jordan narrates this epic new series that is a guaranteed must-watch if you are an avid viewer of the aforementioned nature documentaries.

Captive Audience: A Real American Horror Story
Did you ever see the Emmy-award-winning miniseries I Know My Name Is Steven? If so, you may be interested in this docu-series that tells the true story behind the events of that heartbreaking drama. In December of 1972, 7-year-old Steven Stayner was kidnapped by Kenneth Parnell while walking home from school and was subjected to cruel abuse for several years. The documentary delves into Stephen’s case and reveals further tragedies that took place within Stephen’s family.
13th July
The Bob’s Burgers Movie (2022)
When a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, the Belcher’s plans for a successful summer are ruined. As they try to keep their business afloat, their kids uncover a mystery that could save the restaurant. If you’re a fan of the animated series, this one is for you!
15th July
Zombies 3 (2022)
Zombies rise from the ground and cause blood-thirsty havoc around Seabrook High! Who are we kidding? This isn’t a gruesome horror movie. It’s the third and final instalment of Disney’s family-friendly Zombies trilogy about an inclusive school that welcomes humans and monsters alike. Your kids will like it but if you’re after something a little more horrifying, you might want to dig out your old George A. Romero DVDs after your little ones have gone to bed!
Flee (2021)
The extraordinary true story of Amin and his experiences as a refugee after he fled the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. This award-winning and heartbreaking film is mostly told through animation and is guaranteed to leave you speechless!
20th July
City of Angels, City of Death
In the 70s and 80s, serial killers ran rampant around Los Angeles and this documentary series features first-hand accounts from the detectives who tried to track them down before they claimed any more victims. The Hillside Strangler and the Freeway Killer are just two of the murderers featured in this chilling series.
22nd July
The Beat Beneath My Feet (2014)
27th July
Under The Banner of Heaven
Andrew Garfield stars as Detective Jeb Pyre who gets caught up in a murder investigation that seemingly involves the Mormon Church. This true-crime series is based on the nonfiction book of the same name and is both an examination of the crimes that took place and an exploration of faith. We rated this series highly so can recommend this one to you.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series: Season 3
Just when you thought it was safe to let your kids have the remote, another musical arrives featuring the all-singing, all-dancing teens at East High. This is a modern and meta-take on the original movie series so it should be slightly more tolerable than what came before. Of course, if you’re a fan, you’re probably leaping around your living room singing ‘Start of Something New’ in preparation for the updated show!
The Last Man on Earth: Seasons 1-4
Will Forte thinks he’s the last man on Earth in this post-apocalyptic comedy series but as you will probably know already if you have binged this now-cancelled series, he’s not as alone as he thinks he is. The first couple of seasons were probably the strongest but the series as a whole is rather enjoyable so is worth a watch if you missed out on this as it’s dropping in its entirety on Disney+.
29th July
Not Okay (2022)
Danni Sanders (Zoey Deutch) is not okay! This aimless young writer has no friends, no romantic prospects and – worst of all, in this age of social media – no followers! She fakes a trip to Paris in the hopes of boosting her worth on Instagram but things go from bad to worse for this luckless lady after her lie is discovered. Dylan O’Brien co-stars as the man of her dreams in this promising new comedy.
