There is much more to see but as is usual for Prime, many of their upcoming titles will drop onto the service without prior warning, as the James Bond catalogue did last month. As such, this list might not be exhaustive but these are the titles that are currently confirmed to arrive on the streaming platform.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) Miles Morales makes his debut on screen as do a number of other Spidey folk, including Spider-Ham and Spider-Man Noir who swing in from different dimensions. This stunning animated effort deservedly won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2019 and hopes are high for the sequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is due to be released on the 2nd June 2023.

The Wilds – Season 2 In season 1, a group of teen girls from wildly different backgrounds crash-landed on a deserted island. Their arrival on the island was no accident as it turned out that they had unwittingly been pulled into an elaborate social experiment. In the second season, the girls aren’t alone as a group of teenage boys arrive on the scene to join in their battle for survival. The Contractor (2022)  We recently saw Chris Pine in the Netflix movie All The Real Knives but anybody hoping for an action-packed thrill-fest came away disappointed. It was still a decent twisty spy thriller though but if you are hoping to see Pine in action man mode, you might want to tune into this movie. He stars as a Special Forces agent who is forced to run for his life after being involuntarily discharged from the army. Keifer Sutherland, who is no stranger to this type of thing after his turn as Jack Bauer in 24, also stars in this conspiracy thriller. Soho Theatre Live: Season 3 The comedians lined up for this season are Mark Watson, Spencer Jones, Felicity Ward, Luisa Omielan, Olga Koch, Suzi Ruffell, Michael Odewale, Alfie Brown, Natalie Palamides, and Anuvab Pal. A month of Prime is certainly cheaper than buying theatre tickets so you might want to subscribe if you haven’t yet done so.

Respect (2021) Jennifer Hudson stars as Aretha Franklin in this remarkable movie that charts the singer’s accomplished music career from her early beginnings to international superstardom. Fans of Franklin will want to tune into this one as will anybody wanting to see Hudson deliver a powerhouse performance as the late star.
