He attracts the attention of Gye Ji-Han, a middle-aged local doctor, and takes the young physician under his wing. Rounding out the trio is Seo Eun-Woo, a young widow. What will become of this trio? We’ll have to wait and find out.

At the time of writing, tvN have officially renewed Poong The Joseon Psychiatrist for season 2! Given the ratings over the weeks, which remained steady at around 5%, that’s great news for fans of the show. The fact that most k-dramas wrap up their stories in a single season means this certainly comes as a surprise. Given this is a simple historical drama at its heart, with likable characters and an easy plot, we can expect this one to return very soon.
