What is P-Valley Season 2 about?
Season 2 of P-Valley focuses squarely on the aftermath of the pandemic, with the show picking up long after the events of Murda Night, where Hailey’s abusive ex was killed. The Pynk is still here but it’s bleeding money; funds are scraped together from car washes and whatever other ventures they can find – but it’s tough. Mercedes is paying two mortgages while Hailey’s 85% ownership puts her in control of the Pynk’s future. With Andre back in town and drama starting to heat up, will this community manage to get back on their feet?
Has P-Valley been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Starz have renewed P-Valley for season 3. That’s great news for fans of the show, especially as it’s been well-received both critically and by audiences – and the viewing numbers have been strong too. Given how likable a lot of the characters are too, this one perhaps doesn’t come as too much of a shock, but it is fantastic news. You can read more about that decision over at Deadline, who have a whole article about this.
What we know about season 3 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 3 at this point, given Starz have only just green-lit a sequel at the time of writing. As detailed above, this show has likable characters and topical themes discussed, not to mention an on-going story with plenty of scope for progression so expect this one to pick up right where we left off in season 2, with plenty more drama on the table.
