Renewed Or Cancelled?
Crazy Love is a simple but surprisingly effective romantic comedy, with a captivating group of characters, some great jokes and a really solid romance. This 16 episode k-drama has been a real treat over the weeks but now that the series has ended, you may be wondering if this one has been renewed or cancelled.
What is Crazy Love Season 1 about?
Crazy Love is a romantic comedy K-Drama which follows the love story between Noh Go-Jin (Kim Jae-Wook), a popular math instructor, and his secretary, Lee Shin-A (Krystal). Noh Go-Jin is also the CEO of GOTOP education and despite not having gone to university, he has managed to excel thanks to his high intelligence and charisma. However, one day he starts receiving death threats. Lee Shin-A is an introvert and has always had a quiet presence around her boss and her colleagues. After a year of working, Noh Go-Jin starts to get recognized by her colleagues but unfortunately she finds out she doesn’t have long left to live.
Has Crazy Love been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Disney+ has not renewed Crazy Love for season 2. Given the respectable ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. The ratings have been pretty steady over the weeks and given the consistent run of episodes, steadily gaining fans over time, there’s bound to be a good number of people who have watched this one. Based on this, and the fact international streaming hasn’t opened yet (at the time of writing), there is a possibility that Crazy Love may be renewed. However, given most k-dramas wrap up their stories in a single season – we predict that Crazy Love will not be renewed. We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Most Korean dramas are reserved to one season and with the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. However, there is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up or even a spin-off ala. the Reply series. However, we’ll have to wait and see if this one’s greenlit or not. For now though, we’re under the impression that there will not be a season 2 but we generally will aim to update this page when more information becomes available.
